One Chance

An illuminating opportunity to see that Paul Potts is a man with substance - depth of character. He survived ridicule and bullying as he presented strange in the environment where he grew up. He came through major medical set-backs. He did not have the benefits of a Fathers' support. However, he met a girl who had unconditional love for him. She believed in him and encouraged him to hold onto his dream. This story is LOL while generating goose-bumps! A deserving winner of Britain's Got Talent. An unassuming man who values his position and worked so hard to get there. Well cast. James Corden plays Paul so well, even down to the cracked tooth! Yes, its Pauls voice you can hear but you wouldn't know it wasn't James striking up a few chords! Julie Walters plays his Mum - brilliant but then I wouldn't expect anything else of her. Mackenzie Crook plays Paul's immediate boss at Carphone Warehouse but in the film "Notting Hill", Hugh Grant's eloquent flatmate came to my mind. A brilliant movie that I will buy once out on DVD; I rate it.
